Heather Cole is a valued Return Customer - however this project was by far the biggest job yet as we were putting together the Brides' Wedding Album! She definitely has a certain style - but has a hard time getting detailed about it, which means I had little to go on, and lots to work with! This is one of my favorite albums yet - I had so much fun giving her clean, elegant, stylish lines, with enough of a casual feel to capture her gorgeous outdoor wedding! We were able to keep it 'timeless' as she requested - without too many trendy embellishments or patterns... so this Scrapbook will remain classic throughout the years to come!

"I have friends who have looked through my wedding album three and four times....it is just so fun to look through. All I told Karrilee was that I wanted my wedding album to have a classic style. I didn't know how she was going to do it with such little input from me, but she did it. She picked subtle colors and fit them together with my black and white photos perfectly. I was completely floored when I saw how many pictures she was able to fit into the album without making it look cluttered. I had a HUGE stack of pictures expecting to get a lot back.....but again, she fit them in. There wasn't a single shot that was left out or out of sequence. Karrilee not only has a true talent for capturing the moment, but she captured some of the smaller details of our big day that we had forgotten about. For instance, a list of the top ten reasons why to attend our wedding which lined the road on the way to the wedding site. Sheryl Jones hired me to do a few albums for her to give as Christmas gifts last year and I had so much fun doing them! Between Sheryl, and a few other clients I have that are members of her extended family, I feel like I have really come to know the entire family!!! She is a return customer and I look forward to doing more albums for her in the future!

Jennifer is a great friend of mine and she had mentioned again and again how much she loved my Scrapbooks, and how she is not crafty and really not able to do them herself... so for a gift, I made her a blank Family Album where all she needs to do is slip in her own family pictures and she has a completed one of a kind Scrapbook Album to show off and enjoy! It was a hit!

"Karrilee & I went shopping together to pick out the supplies she would use to create gift certificate cards and promotional cards for my pet pampering business. My focus was pulled in a new direction with each new pretty paper and new color scheme, but Karrilee was so patient with me, and I could tell she was trying to mentally create the cards that I had originally imagined from the mis-matched mess of papers that I now held in my hands. Then I realized that I was getting in the way of why I hired her for this project! So I said, "Okay... I want posh & ritzy, but I also want pink, fun & whimsical... How would you make that happen?"

And that's when I caught my first glimpse of just how talented this lady really is.

She immediately said, "Well, if that was all I had to go on..." and then proceeded to quickly pick out THE perfect papers, ribbon, shapes, etc. It was so amazing to just hand her the reigns and watch her go, because with every single choice she made, it was like watching her reach through all my abstract ideas, cut away all my distractions and come out with exactly what I wanted. Each card is a work of art in it's own right, and I love them all."

When I heard of what happened with the Jones' Wedding photographs, I was so excited to be able to take what seemed like such a disappointment and create a treasured keepsake album that they could show off and be proud of and that would help them remember the highlights and good memories of that one special day!

"When my husband and I received our wedding pictures, I was so excited to look at them to review our special day and see things I might have missed. When our photographer handed them to us he teared up because they didn't meet his expectations or ours. A lot were blurry and either too dark or too light due to equipment malfunctions. Even though he tried to fix them, they still weren't what I had hoped for. Many times I cried about what had happened because that was how we could remember that special day. We met with the photographer and he agreed to give us half back due to only fulfilling half of our objectives in hiring him. So, I decided to use that money to get a scrapbook made to rectify the situation for me. When I received the completed scrapbook from Karrilee, I felt so blessed and that my expectations were finally met. The way she layed out the pictures made me see how many good pictures we actually did get and helped me feel a lot better about the situation. Her gift of scrapbooking is something I don't have and to have my wedding pictures displayed so perfectly is truly an answer to prayer. I was hired to make a Scrapbook of Karianna's Senior High School Year. I was hired before her school year was over... so she knew to take lots of pictures!!! This was a fun project full of High School memories, school dances, senior portraits, and graduation party photographs! I knew she would treasure this Album now and in the future!

“Karrilee managed to fit my whole senior year into one photo album. It is a treasure. It's so easy to forget all the little details over time. But every time I open that album I am right back there with all my friends in my old town before everyone went their separate ways. To tell you the truth, I didn't even know how wonderful that whole year was until I saw it all in front of me. Her workmanship is beautiful, she puts every other scrapbook person I have ever met to shame. She's like the Hallmark of scrapbook land. She takes your pictures and makes you feel like you have a leading role in a movie. I have seen some of her other work as well, and as far as I am concerned there isn't any project she can't do. I made a Retirement Party Scrapbook for Karen Collins, as well as an album for each of her three daughters for Christmas Presents.

“Karrilee created a lasting memory for me when she photographed and created an album of memories at my Retirement party! She captured my friendships of many years in a snapshot of moments. The artistic creative slant she presents with photos in the album are very professional and unique. She was able to capture a moment and bring it to life again with her ability to personalize a page with a photograph, journaling and decorative accents. I also hired Karrilee to create an album for each of my three daughters for Christmas using pictures from their childhood up and through their own motherhood, the albums were beautiful and a wonderful surprise for my daughters! I made a Blank Baby Album Scrapbook for Heather Harris for a Baby Shower gift! She was a first time Mom-to-be and I knew that she would enjoy having a handmade album to show off her new pride and joy - but wouldn’t have the time!

This next "job" was for a going away gift for friends of ours. Since we knew they would be moving out of state, I decided to bring along my camera to their going away party... I have made a sign in book and had places for people to write in memories and best wishes, as well as a place to add addresses and phone numbers. After the party I was able to add a few pictures here and there to help them remember their send off!

Heather asked me to do a small Paper Bag Album for a gift. She had spent the day at a Rodeo with her fiance and his little sister but they had about 8 pictures. It was such a special day that they wanted to do something unique with the photo's - but what do you do with only 8 pictures for a teenager!? I was able to put together a fun Western Cowboy paperbag album and her soon to be sister-in-law loved it!!!
"Karrilee was able to take my pictures from a special day at the rodeo and turn it into a small book of memories decked out in true country western style. It made for a GREAT gift and we will remember that day. Soon, she will be putting together a wedding album to display my wedding photos.
